Kohlrabi Microgreens

Kohlrabi microgreens have an intensely fresh, cabbage-like flavour and add variety to food. The delicate pink-coloured seedlings are ideal as decoration and enhance cheese, salads, starters, vegetable, meat and fish dishes. The microgreens are also impressive in terms of their ingredients, as the mini plants also have a high nutrient content. Compared to full-grown kohlrabi, for example, microgreens contain around double the amount of vitamins B1, B2 and iron. With the Heimgart propagation system, you can grow kohlrabi microgreens without a garden, balcony or green fingers. All you need to grow microgreens is the porcelain dish, the stainless steel insert from the Heimgart starter kit, two seed pads and a few minutes' time, and you're ready to start your kitchen garden project. First, fill the porcelain bowl with water up to the mark. Then place two kohlrabi seed pads on the stainless steel insert and place it in the bowl. Finally, cover the kohlrabi seed pads with the two covers to keep the seeds in the dark and create a pleasant microclimate for the plants. The best thing: with Heimgart, no additional watering or watering is necessary. Once the porcelain tray is filled with water up to the mark, even watering is ensured throughout the entire growing period. Once the two seed pads for kohlrabi microgreens have been planted in the Heimgart porcelain dish according to the instructions, it only takes about 7 days to enjoy the culinary delights. The certified organic seed pads for kohlrabi microgreens consist of a natural fibre fleece on which the seeds are pre-positioned with a natural binding agent.
