Radish Microgreens

Microgreens are the young seedlings of various vegetable varieties, such as radishes. Compared to their fully grown siblings, the young seedlings contain many times more minerals. Our nutrient analyses have shown that radish microgreens have twice as much calcium and iron content, and four times as much magnesium. The young seedlings are therefore great sources of vitamins and minerals that support your healthy diet. The certified organic radish microgreens seed pads are produced exclusively for the Heimgart propagation system by a local non-profit. The seed pads consist of a natural fiber fleece. The seeds are fixed and pre-positioned with a natural binding agent. If seeds should come loose when unpacking the pad, this is not a problem: simply spread them on the seed pad before covering it. Two seed pads are required per cultivation in the Heimgart starter kit. How do you start your own kitchen Heimgart garden? Firstly, fill the porcelain dish with water up to the side mark. Then place two radish seed pads on the stainless-steel insert and place it in the Heimgart porcelain bowl. Cover the radish microgreens seed pads with the included cultivation covers. This keeps the seeds in the dark and creates a pleasant microclimate in which the seedlings germinate optimally. The best thing is that with Heimgart, no additional watering or fertilization is necessary. Once the porcelain dish is filled with water up to the mark, even watering is ensured throughout the entire growing period. As an ingredient or decoration, the young seedlings provide variety, creativity and freshness on the plate. With their light sharpness, radish microgreens add a special flavor to salads, bread, quark or smoothies. Microgreens can also be used as decoration to liven up any dish. Harvesting tips:	Harvest and enjoy the fully grown microgreens within a few days. Since they are young seedlings and not sprouts, consume only above the root. Always store the seed pads in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. The seed pads can be composted after use or disposed of in organic waste.
