Rocket microgreens, also known by their Italian name rocket, have a pleasantly intense, nutty-tart and slightly spicy flavour thanks to the mustard oils they contain.

Rocket Microgreens

Rocket microgreens can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen. For example, the healthy seedlings add a fresh, aromatic flavor to pizza or pasta. The best thing, with the seed pads it only takes a few minutes to start your microgreens in the Heimgart propagation system. You need two seed pads for cultivation. Once the two seed pads for rocket microgreens have been planted in the properly filled Heimgart porcelain dish, it takes about 7 days until they are ready for culinary enjoyment. Even watering of the Heimgart is ensured throughout the entire growing period. Additional watering or fertilization is not necessary! The Rocket Microgreens seed pads are certified organic and consist of a natural fiber fleece on which the organic seeds are pre-positioned using a natural binding agent. If seeds come loose when unpacking the pad, this is not a problem: simply spread them on the seed pad before covering it. You can find more information about Heimgart in our FAQ.
